Question by scottiej: I filled for Bankruptcy and my Realtor states she can still show my house if she wants too?
We have filed bankruptcy and the house is included in the filing. We have decided to live there until the process is complete and not show the house anymore. It was a short sale anyway and the house has not moved. Our realtor is threatening court action, because she believes she can still show the house, the agreement states nothing of the sort, it just says we have to make an effort to help her sell the house, let her put a sign up, what do you think?

I think you should re-read that agreement. An “effort to help her sell the house” would reasonably include showing it prospective buyers.

You need to talk to your lawyer about her rights and bring the agreement to him to read and decide on. Then write her a letter explaining what you did and ask her to contact your attorney for any arrangements. You may indeed have to show it. If you do, be gracious.
